Woo to the hoo!
7/13/08 3 CommentsI never win anything so winning tickets to the October 10th Premiere was an incredible shock! I am humbled and grateful to the Criss Angel Team. I was notified by email last Thursday and did a small happy dance to myself (I was at work at the time!)
No info yet on the meet and greet, as I purchased tickets for the Sept 14th show originally and have 2nd row. That seems like it should be in the first 100 right?
Well, my question now is this. I called and they refunded my 25% back to my card being that the 9/14 show is now a preview show. Well the way they had to do it is to refund my ticket in full and recharge it in full for the new lower rate. I kept the same seat however it gave me a new confirmation #. Will this mean my purchase conirmation # comes up later in the selection and now is not part of the first 100? Enquiring minds wanna know. I hope I am still eligible.
In any case I am psyched the new season of Mindfreak, now that its not far away. Both new episodes sound killer. And I cant wait to see the car crash episode since I was there for filming. Congrats to Criss and cheers to a fantastic Season 4.

Juke Kartel signs record deal
2/20/08 2 CommentsWell my friends in the band Juke Kartel from Australia (featuring Toby Rand from Rockstar Supernova) have signed a record deal. This is the band I do alot of street teaming for and moderate their forum at www.jkstreetteam.org
They just arrived back in the States last week..the label is putting them up in a house in LA. Then last Sunday they flew to Seattle to begin recording their debut album for the label with Producer Rick Parasher (Pearl Jam, Blind Melon)
The boys are totally stoked, as am I. I cant wait o see my friends again and for them to get their album out and tour. They have worked so hard, and deserve it. Finally, Yeah!

Car Crash Stunt -We all got Mindfreaked!
2/5/08 5 CommentsWell it was my first Criss Demo ever. I am so glad I went to this one. I must give Pam (crzy4criss) a shout for being an excellent partner in crime this weekend in sin city lol. I landed at 1130am with what I thought was plenty of time to check in, have lunch and still make the stunt. Luckily Pam had checked the board early. She texts me and says "its been moved up to 1pm, be there at noon! We have to leave"
I taxi--quickly to Luxor, meet her, no time for lunch (and I hadnt eaten all day yet since being up at 530am) and we jam out the to the Stunt locale. We made good time and were there plenty early. You know TV: nothing is fast, but I expected it and dont mind the waiting or standing. It was a little chilly after awhile, even with heavy coats and gloves but still --I think it is all worth it.
I saw a bunch of Loyals I recognize from the freak forum but by this time I was lined up single file as instructed to go in to see Criss near the car and didnt want to lose my place so I hope to meet you all (Virginia, Amanda, Andi, and too many others) another time!
And it was lovely to see you again Renee and meet your hubby, Leah and Amber this time! I am so glad I got to meet Dana from Canada. She moved heaven and earth to get there and is so cute and determined like a true loyal fan. Her enthusiasm was contagious. It was fun hanging with you girl! Lets do it again soon!
So then we get walked in to see Criss. This is the part where Criss tells us about the stunt, whats going to happen exactly.
He is so focused and intense. Never seen him like that. All I can say was his attitude and deameanor was sorta "dark". Intense is the best way to describe it. Methinks Mr. Angel is a better actor than we think though because this sets an air of tension which was required for this episode in my opinion. Of course he is serious about it and of course and he is telling the truth but you can kinda feel the drama too. He talked to Sully and his Olympic Gold medal wrestler friend Kurt Angle I think ?? and got their take on things.
Pretty soon after all this its time to find someone to man the SPOV camera which he did. Then we all stood around for a bit waiting to be walked by the Car with Criss in it so we could see he was handcuffed in there. He wanted us to see it was real. While waiting I saw Sully bent down kind of looking like he was praying and then he actually wiped his eyes. It friggin looked like Sully was crying. This freaked me out! Seeing guys cry makes me nervous. So it ups the nerves and tension for the stunt, as if I wasnt already excited and on edge.
So we go by the car, & again he looked so focused and intense. I said "Good luck Criss" to him on my way by and then we all headed back to the top ridge of the canyon to get our spot for viewing the stunt.
As we are almost there, I hear the familiar "Are you ready" and so I get in place and then BAM he was barreling over the cliff there and the explosion happened so fast it sorta made me gasp and took my breath away. I fully expected to see Criss jump out of the car before it blew up. Nobody saw him get out.
Immediately, the crew, cameramen, producers, P.A's etc were like "Everybody back to the parking lot NOW!" We werent allowed to stay and try and see anything. I am so use to him jumping out and yelling "Yeah", but to no avail this time.
So we all get back to the parking lot. Little girls and boys are crying. People are seriously rattled. They interview people about what just happened, fan reactions etc. Dana, Pam and I got interviewed together. That was tons of fun. Signed our releases and got photos taken. In my heart I knew it was all a stunt and therefore he was ok. But I told my honest reaction, it took my breath away. But its TV people. My friends: Thats why its called MINDFREAK!
But we vowed to stay until we got word or to see if Criss popped out but it was dark, and we had to pee and were starving! ha ha
So we left and got some dinner, then some drinks. We apparently had just missed Criss walking by La Salsa (so the bartender told us) so then it was verified: Criss was ok.
We knew after a stunt like that he'd be at LAX later to celebrate, after all Sully was in town. We never saw him although we heard the announcement he had arrived (with Sully who is a good actor now I think too ha ha) but we had a blast. We got invited to a VIP booth so it was all good. We also got to see the Cathouse and dance and had fun there too.
I would do this all again in a heartbeat and hope to soon! I hope to meet more Loyals next time! As always I am so impressed with Criss. One day I'll get my chance to tell him in person. Believe. XO

WTF???
1/14/08 5 CommentsOk this site is the twilight zone. This morning I logged on and had comments. Now this afternoon the comments are gone. I hope not for good? I tried to leave Regina 2 comments and I look at her page and dont see them at all.
So Regina if you read this--woohoo Chargers! And I have read the Secret book and love Tony Robbins too. I'll be looking forward to hearing how it goes for you.
and Fizzi...yes I wanna be there for the opening Cirque show--1st one whenever it is so count me in.
Ok I have never been this outspoken here & this might piss some people off but how can anyone know what Criss is thinking by looking at a picture? Or if he is really tired or just not wearing makeup? It seems so inappropriate and starts to tick me off the amount of times I see people post "Criss looks so tired" or the "Sparkle is gone from his eyes, something must be wrong" or how much they worry about him or something similar to that. Its great we all care: but Come on people: he is a grownup, he knows what he is doing. And beard or not why does it matter? He is still Criss and thats all we need to know right? So if this pisses you off so be it, leave me a nasty comment. This grownup can take it.
Ok my Seahawks lost--on Saturday the packers were the better team. Gotta give props to the "old man" Brett Favre. But I cant tell you how stoked I am about the Chargers. Wooooooooohooooooooo. Now we need to get LT and Rivers healthy. The Patriots are so tough, we'll need every ounce of luck and every player we can get. But AFC Championsip game: here we come, yeah.

Twighlight Zone, do do do do
1/3/08 2 CommentsIt looks like my READY FOR 2008 blog posted about 5 times. Even though every time I kept trying it said an error had ocured and that was the incorrect link. God bless it you clique site, whatever ....arghhhhhhhhh. So disregard the many duplicates!
Anyhoo, I fly off to the bay area tomorrow. Headed to ARF rocks a benefit for Tony La Rusa's animal rescue foundation with one of my fave bands playing: Lovehammers. A bunch of us Cali girls are calling it an excuse to get together and party. Cant believe I met all these gals through the internet in March of 2006 all for love of one band and we all met on one website message board. These girls are now my best friends. See Loyals, this is how "forever friends" are made so dont discount relationships made on the internet, the bonds made over a common love are real! So bring on the Loyal get togethers in 2008. I am looking forward to making new forever friends amongst the Loyals soon.
Then I'll be back Saturday to catch the Hawks game and root for the Chargers on Sunday.
Have a great weekend all!
